Turn them inside out and cold water rinse, gentle cycle, remove promptly from washer, then line dry.

Pro Tip: Skip the washer and save some H20. Instead, seal your jeans in a bag and pop them in the freezer for 24 hours. This will preserve the longevity of the wash and the fabric. Spot-clean if needed. ‘I love doing laundry!’ - no one, ever.
