Try at Home FAQs
What is TryNow?
Choose up to 8 items to try at home for 7 days and only pay for what you keep.
*Currently available for US residents only, excluding New Mexico and Nevada.
How does it work?
As a shopper, you select the "Try at Home" purchase option when adding eligible items to your cart. In the cart, the subtotal will show the total price of products and a line below that states "Due Today $0." At checkout, you will not be charged for any eligible items. An authorization for the full amount of your purchase will be placed on your card to reserve funds in the event you choose to keep your items, but you will only be charged for kept items. Your trial begins once the package is delivered, at which point you’ll have 7 days to try on your items at home, decide what to keep, and return the rest. At every stage of the Try at Home process, you will receive email notifications.
When will I be charged for the items I keep?
We won't charge you for what you kept until your return box is processed at our fulfillment center. We inspect each item in your return and update your order status so you're only charged for what you kept. Returned items must be in new condition with original tags to be eligible for return. If we determine that your items do not meet our return requirements, you will be charged for that item and it will be mailed back to you.
Love everything you ordered? Amazing! No need to initiate a return. You can simply hold onto the items you ordered and wait for the trial period to end (at which time you will be charged in full) or you can email Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org to request a manual closeout of your trial.
What payment options do I have?
You can use Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Unfortunately gift cards and any alternative payment methods or "buy now, pay later" options like QuadPay and Shop Pay Installments are not accepted at this time.
Can I use a gift card?
Unfortunately, gift cards cannot be used for a TryNow order.
How does the temporary authorization work?
When checking out with TryNow, there will be a temporary authorization placed on your credit card. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express card holders will see a single hold on their card for the duration of their trial. Discover card holders are subject to a 5-day re-authorization process, which means their hold will be refreshed every 5 days to ensure that the funds are still available on their card to pay for their order.
TryNow only holds one authorization at a time, but it can take 24-48 hours for the expired authorization to drop from the shopper's statement.
Funds held on a credit card are still available to a customer on their account.
Funds held on a debit card will not show available to a customer on their account.
Can I purchase items outright alongside my Try at Home items?
Absolutely! You can create a blended cart (which is a mix between items you know you'll want to keep + items you'd like to try at home via TryNow). Your entire order will be considered a "TryNow" purchase and the full priced items will be charged at the end of your trial with any kept TryNow items. (Note: these are all returnable within our standard 30 day window provided they are unwashed, in new condition and not marked final sale.)
If I have additional questions, whom should I contact?
